Deodorants for men
Perfume cannot replace a deodorant: fragrance over a day's sweat ends up less pleasant, not more. A deodorant controls body odour, while an antiperspirant reduces underarm sweating. Apply to clean, dry skin, ideally after a shower, and let it dry before dressing to avoid white marks and yellow stains. If you also wear perfume, pick an unscented or lightly scented deodorant so the two do not clash. Sensitive skin should patch-test first, and avoid applying straight after shaving or on broken skin.
