Long-lasting men's fragrance

For a men's fragrance that lasts, watch three things: concentration, scent family and how you apply it. Higher concentrations such as Eau de Parfum or Parfum usually outlast Eau de Toilette. Woody, amber, musky and vanilla notes evaporate more slowly than fresh citrus. Spraying moisturised skin at the neck, nape and chest helps the scent cling; a light mist on clothing also holds well, but take care with pale fabrics. Longevity also depends on your skin and the weather, so advertised hours are only a rough guide. This list gathers products labelled high-concentration or long-lasting.
